Surrounded by Pasadena's Arroyo Seco Park, Rose Bowl Stadium is an
entertainment venue near the city's downtown shopping and entertainment
district. This arena hosts an annual NCAA football tournament on New
Year's Day, in addition to special events like concerts and other
sporting matches. There are four hotels within three miles of the Rose
Bowl.
Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena-Old Town
The Courtyard (marriott.com) is approximately one mile from the
Rose Bowl. All guestrooms feature luxury linens, free wireless Internet,
iPod docking stations and soundproof windows. Rooms with jetted tubs,
separate living spaces or views of the on-site heated pool also are
available. The Courtyard has a business center, a fitness room and a
communal whirlpool as well. The Bistro, the hotel's casual dining
establishment, is open for lunch and dinner, and Violet's Cakes is
within a two-minute walk of the hotel. The Armory Center for the Arts, a
local art education center and gallery, is a five-minute walk away, and
Universal Studios is 15 miles from the hotel.
The Westin Pasadena
The Westin (starwoodhotels.com) is eight minutes from the Rose
Bowl. Rooms boast flat-panel televisions, luxury bedding and premium
bath amenities. Guests can choose units with extras like furnished
balconies or window seats. The Westin has an extensive fitness room,
along with a heated rooftop pool, a communal whirlpool and a gift shop.
Three eateries are on site, including Ventanas Restaurant and Bar, and
Hutch's Barbecue and Jamaican Cuisine is less than one block away. The
Kidspace Children's Museum, home to interactive exhibits like the
Kaleidoscope and the Climbing Towers, is eight minutes from the hotel.
The Westin provides a complimentary shuttle service to some attractions.
Hilton Pasadena
The Hilton Pasadena (hilton.com) is a 10-minute drive from the Rose
Bowl. Guests enjoy upscale bedding with feather pillows, granite
vanities and bath products by Crabtree and Evelyn. Suites feature
mountain views, marble foyers and balconies. The Hilton offers a free
shuttle service to attractions within two miles, and a swimming pool,
fitness center and business center are on site. The hotel is home to
Trevos Restaurant, and eateries like Maison Akira and Sushi of Naples
are less than six blocks away. Paseo Colorado, an open-air shopping
center featuring Macy's, Gelson's and an ArcLight Cinema, is only one
block from the Hilton.
Pasadena Inn
The Pasadena Inn (oldpasadenainn.com) is approximately three miles
from the Rose Bowl. This hotel offers free Wi-Fi access, data ports,
24-inch televisions and work areas; rooms with kitchenettes are
available. Other amenities include a swimming pool, meeting facilities
and a complimentary continental breakfast. The Pasadena Inn has a
full-service restaurant as well, and Houston's Restaurant is a few steps
from the property. The Central Park of Pasadena, with a playground and
lawn-bowling area, is two blocks away, and Santa Anita Park, a
thoroughbred racecourse in the nearby community of Arcadia, is less than
10 blocks from the Pasadena Inn.
